4. Sources of consumer health data

We collect consumer health data directly from you when you type answers, text us, send photos, send weigh-ins, use the site, purchase a plan, respond to coaching, or connect a device. We may also receive related information from service providers and integrations such as messaging platforms, Stripe, Firebase, Vercel, Meta attribution tools, connected-scale platforms, AI infrastructure providers, support systems, and analytics or security providers.

5. How we disclose it

We disclose consumer health data only as needed to provide, operate, secure, support, document, improve, or legally protect STEADY, or as otherwise permitted by law. Service providers may process data for hosting, databases, authentication, messaging, SMS/iMessage delivery, payment processing, checkout, connected-scale sync, analytics, attribution, AI support, customer support, logging, security, legal, tax, accounting, and compliance.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, government request, payment-network rule, safety concern, fraud investigation, chargeback, legal claim, merger, acquisition, financing, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell your weight data, progress photos, scale photos, food photos, private coaching messages, or mobile opt-in consent records. We do not share mobile opt-in data or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

6. AI-assisted and photo processing

STEADY may use AI-assisted tools and human operators to summarize coaching history, draft responses, interpret scale photos, estimate food context, estimate body-composition context, and compare progress over time. These outputs are approximate, non-medical, and not a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, dietetic service, emergency service, or guarantee.

Do not send nude, sexually explicit, minor-related, third-party, illegal, or unnecessary sensitive images. You can use STEADY without sending body or food photos, but some coaching features may be less personalized.

7. Your controls and rights

  • You can stop sending wellness information, body photos, food photos, scale photos, or other content at any time.
  • You can text STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT where supported to opt out of recurring or promotional texts. Text HELP for help.
  • You can request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, withdrawal of consent for certain processing, opt-out, or appeal where those rights are available under applicable law.
  • You can request account or data deletion at /data-deletion or by emailing contact@inovaplatforms.com.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain consumer health data for as long as reasonably needed to provide STEADY, maintain your account, compare trends, support subscriptions, preserve consent records, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, improve the service, maintain accounting and tax records, and document legal, carrier, or payment compliance.

Deletion or withdrawal requests may limit or disable coaching, trend comparison, profile continuity, subscription support, dispute defense, and compliance documentation. We may retain or de-identify information where permitted or required by law.

9. HIPAA boundary

Unless we separately enter into a written business associate agreement or other written arrangement that expressly says otherwise, STEADY is not intended to receive protected health information from a HIPAA-covered provider, health plan, or clearinghouse, and STEADY is not operating as a HIPAA business associate for your use of the consumer service.

Do not ask a doctor, clinic, insurer, employer health plan, pharmacy, or other covered entity to send protected health information to STEADY unless a proper written arrangement is in place.

10. Contact

To exercise rights or ask questions about consumer health data, email contact@inovaplatforms.com with the email address or phone number associated with your STEADY account so we can locate and verify the correct records.
