STEADY

Terms of Service

Last updated June 15, 2026

These Terms are written for a text-first wellness accountability product. They cover health disclaimers, SMS consent, subscriptions, user responsibilities, and the limits of STEADY as a general wellness service.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of STEADY, including our website, checkout pages, text-message coaching, account setup, connected-scale workflows, analytics, support, offers, and related services. STEADY is operated by Inova Platforms, Inc. References to STEADY, we, us, and our mean Inova Platforms, Inc. and the STEADY service.

By visiting the site, creating or using an account, submitting your phone number or email address, checking a consent box, replying with acceptance such as I AGREE, texting us, purchasing a plan, connecting a device, uploading content, or otherwise using STEADY, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use STEADY.

2. Eligibility and account accuracy

You may use STEADY only if you are at least 18 years old, are legally able to enter a binding agreement, and are using the service for your own personal wellness purposes. You may not use STEADY for someone else without their permission, for a minor, or for any medical emergency.

You agree that the information you provide, including your email address, mobile number, profile answers, weight, photos, device data, goals, preferences, payment details, and other submissions, is accurate, current, and yours to provide. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current and for all activity associated with your account, phone number, email address, and payment method.

3. What STEADY provides

STEADY provides general wellness accountability, trend tracking, and text-based coaching support for weight, food, activity, sleep, caffeine, alcohol, media use, social media, social life, relationship patterns, chores, dental habits, spending, work, confidence challenges, emotional regulation, medications, supplements, symptoms, pain, illness, mood, stress, hydration, nicotine, vaping, substance use, mindfulness, journaling, cycle, fertility, pregnancy, hormone context, preventive care, vitals, wearable signals, learning, caregiving, custom goals, custom streaks, and adult-only private habit self-reports. Features may include funnel-based personalization, connected-scale or self-reported weigh-ins, scale photos, food photos, progress photos, body-composition context, receipt or purchase notes, plan reminders, check-ins, support messages, account setup, subscription checkout, and AI-assisted or human-assisted responses.

STEADY may use your funnel answers, text messages, email address, phone number, device data, photos, weight entries, behavior logs, symptom notes, medication notes, mood notes, vital notes, purchase notes, custom goal or streak notes, subscription status, and support history to personalize messages and maintain continuity. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time.

4. General wellness only, not medical care

STEADY is a general wellness and accountability service. It is not a medical provider, clinic, telehealth service, pharmacy, dietitian service, emergency service, medical device, diagnostic tool, treatment program, or substitute for professional medical judgment. STEADY does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

No message, plan, dashboard, trend read, body-composition estimate, weight target, reminder, coaching prompt, AI response, support reply, or other content from STEADY creates a doctor-patient, clinician-patient, therapist-client, dietitian-client, fiduciary, or other licensed professional relationship.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether any nutrition, exercise, weight-loss, lifestyle, medication, supplement, fasting, hydration, sleep, or other wellness action is appropriate for you. Consult a qualified clinician before starting, stopping, or changing any health, nutrition, exercise, medication, supplement, pregnancy, postpartum, eating-disorder, chronic-disease, or weight-management plan.

5. Health and safety responsibilities

Weight loss, exercise, changes in diet, fasting, dehydration, medication changes, alcohol changes, supplement use, and other lifestyle actions can involve risks. You agree to use STEADY cautiously and to stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness, fainting, chest pain, shortness of breath, severe hunger, disordered eating behavior, unusual symptoms, mental distress, or other safety concerns.

Do not use STEADY as your only source of guidance if you are pregnant or postpartum; are under 18; have or may have an eating disorder; have diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, hypertension, cancer, osteoporosis, gastrointestinal disease, a psychiatric condition, or any chronic condition; take GLP-1 medications, insulin, blood-pressure medication, diuretics, stimulants, psychiatric medication, or any other medication affected by food, hydration, weight, or exercise; or have been told by a clinician to follow a supervised plan.

If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately. STEADY does not monitor messages continuously and cannot provide emergency response.

6. No guaranteed outcomes

STEADY does not guarantee weight loss, fat loss, maintenance, body-composition change, health improvement, habit change, adherence, appearance, metabolic change, disease-risk reduction, or any specific result. Outcomes vary by person and depend on factors outside our control, including biology, medications, health status, sleep, stress, nutrition, activity, consistency, measurement error, and professional medical guidance.

Any examples, previews, testimonials, screenshots, projected trends, body-composition ranges, or before-and-after style references are illustrative only. They are not promises, typical-results claims, medical conclusions, or guarantees that you will achieve the same or similar results.

7. AI-assisted and automated features

STEADY may use automated technology, algorithms, artificial intelligence, templates, and human review to generate, prioritize, summarize, or send messages. AI-assisted content can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, inappropriate for your situation, or based on limited information. You agree not to rely on AI-assisted content as medical, clinical, nutritional, legal, financial, emergency, or safety advice.

Coach names, personas, or signatures used in the service, including names such as Blair, identify a STEADY coaching workflow and may involve AI-assisted systems, human operators, contractors, support staff, or a combination of those resources. They do not promise that a specific individual, licensed clinician, dietitian, therapist, trainer, or personal phone number is assigned to you unless we expressly say so in writing.

You acknowledge that messages may be drafted, routed, summarized, reviewed, or sent by AI-assisted tools and operational staff. STEADY is not continuously monitored, response timing is not guaranteed, and the service is not appropriate for urgent, emergency, clinical, or safety-critical situations.

You are responsible for reviewing all STEADY messages and using independent judgment. If something appears unsafe, confusing, wrong, or inconsistent with professional advice, do not follow it and contact a qualified professional.

8. Measurements, photos, and connected devices

Weight, trend, and body-composition information can be affected by scale calibration, hydration, sodium, menstrual cycle, alcohol, travel, sleep, clothing, device limitations, lighting, image angle, self-reporting errors, API delays, and other factors. STEADY may interpret or display this information for accountability, but it is not a diagnostic or medical measurement.

If you send scale screenshots, scale photos, food photos, progress photos, body photos, or other images, you authorize STEADY to receive, store, transmit, review, analyze, summarize, and use those images and related derived information to provide accountability, progress tracking, body-composition estimates, food context, support, safety, troubleshooting, and service improvement. Photo-derived estimates are approximate and are not medical, diagnostic, nutritional, or fitness testing results.

Do not send nude, sexually explicit, exploitative, illegal, or minor-related images. Do not send images of other people, third-party faces, private documents, or sensitive information that is not needed for STEADY. We may refuse, remove, restrict, or delete image content if we believe it creates legal, safety, privacy, operational, or reputational risk.

Connected devices, scale manufacturers, app stores, messaging providers, payment processors, analytics tools, and carriers are third parties. We are not responsible for third-party accuracy, availability, policies, security, outages, fees, errors, or data practices.

9. SMS, MMS, iMessage, and calling consent

By submitting a mobile number, checking a consent box, texting STEADY, or otherwise opting in, you authorize STEADY, Inova Platforms, Inc., and our service providers to send texts, iMessages, MMS messages, calls, and similar communications to the number provided about coaching, account setup, authentication, support, subscription status, service updates, reminders, offers, promotions, and related STEADY matters. Messages may be sent using automated technology, autodialer-like systems where applicable, artificial or prerecorded content where applicable, AI-assisted support, and human-assisted support.

Message frequency varies and may include recurring messages. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to purchase or use STEADY. You represent that you are the subscriber, customary user, or authorized user of the number you provide and that you will promptly tell us if the number is reassigned, deactivated, transferred, or no longer yours.

You may opt out of promotional or recurring text messages by replying STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT where supported. You may request help by replying HELP. After an opt-out, we may send one confirmation message and may still send legally permitted transactional, account, safety, billing, or support messages where allowed. Opting out of texts may limit or disable core text-coaching features.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wireless carriers, Apple, Google, messaging platforms, and providers such as Quo, Linq, OpenPhone, or Twilio-like services may affect delivery. We may log consent, opt-ins, opt-outs, message content, timestamps, phone numbers, email addresses, device data, and carrier/provider metadata to operate the service and document compliance. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in consent records for third-party marketing.

10. Email and other communications

You authorize us to send emails and other communications about your account, checkout, subscription, support, updates, legal notices, product changes, and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails where required, but we may still send transactional and service-related communications.

11. Subscriptions, checkout, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are processed through Stripe or another payment provider. Prices, renewal terms, trial terms if any, taxes, currency, billing interval, and cancellation options are shown at checkout or in the subscription management flow. By purchasing, you authorize recurring charges according to the terms shown at checkout until canceled.

If STEADY offers a 30-Day Summer Weight Loss Challenge credit, that challenge credit is a single $250 credit that applies only if you complete the stated challenge requirements, including tracking your weight and meals or calories every day for 30 days with your STEADY coach, and then choose to upgrade from the free 30-day trial or $19.99 monthly plan to the $500/year STEADY annual plan. If applied, the $500/year annual plan is reduced to $250 for that annual term. The challenge credit is not cash, not transferable, not a refund, not a gift card, not a general account balance, not a credit toward the $19.99 monthly plan, and not stackable with other discounts unless we expressly say so in writing. This is the only credit you can win for completing the challenge. The annual upgrade is optional and separate from the free 30-day trial and monthly plan you are signing up for.

You are responsible for keeping your payment method valid. We may suspend, limit, or cancel access if payment fails, if a charge is disputed, if fraud or abuse is suspected, or if we cannot verify account ownership.

You can cancel future renewals through the available checkout management flow or by contacting support at contact@inovaplatforms.com. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

12. Refunds and chargebacks

Except where required by law or expressly promised in writing, fees are nonrefundable once charged. If you believe there was a billing mistake, contact us promptly before filing a chargeback so we can investigate. We may submit service records, consent records, checkout records, message logs, account metadata, and other evidence to payment processors, banks, or dispute systems to respond to payment disputes, fraud claims, or chargebacks.

13. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of photos, text messages, weigh-ins, goals, preferences, feedback, and other content you submit. You grant STEADY and Inova Platforms, Inc. a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, analyze, summarize, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, support, improve, personalize, document, and enforce the service.

This license includes permission to associate your content with your STEADY account or UID, maintain a coaching history, compare entries over time, extract or estimate weight, food, body-composition, trend, and accountability context, and use that context in future coaching, support, safety, billing, legal, and compliance workflows.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, invasive of another person, infringing, deceptive, harmful, exploitative, sexually explicit, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate for a wellness accountability service. You are responsible for blurring or excluding third-party faces, private documents, nudity, or sensitive information that is not needed for the service.

14. Privacy and sensitive information

Your use of STEADY is also governed by our Privacy Policy. STEADY may process sensitive wellness information such as weight, goals, progress photos, device data, message content, and connected-account data. You should not send information you do not want processed for service operation, support, safety, compliance, analytics, or legal recordkeeping.

Some information you send may be considered consumer health data, sensitive personal information, or similarly protected information under state privacy laws. Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice explain the categories we collect, why we collect them, how we disclose them, and how to request access, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or other rights where available.

You may request deletion of eligible STEADY account, coaching, photo, and wellness data at any time by contacting us or using our Data Deletion Instructions. We will delete or de-identify eligible data unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, opt-out records, consent records, payment disputes, legal obligations, or compliance documentation.

Unless we separately enter into a written business associate agreement or other written arrangement that expressly says otherwise, STEADY is a direct-to-consumer general wellness service and is not intended to receive protected health information from a HIPAA-covered provider, health plan, or clearinghouse. Do not ask your doctor, clinic, insurer, employer health plan, pharmacy, or other covered entity to send protected health information to STEADY unless a proper written arrangement is in place.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to our business, but no system, carrier, app, email, SMS, MMS, iMessage, payment processor, analytics provider, AI provider, cloud host, or connected device is perfectly secure or always available.

15. Acceptable use

You may not misuse STEADY, including by reverse engineering, scraping, interfering with the service, sending malware, impersonating others, providing false contact or payment information, evading payment, harassing staff or systems, attempting unauthorized access, violating laws, infringing rights, exploiting minors, using the service for clinical care of others, or using STEADY to build a competing product without permission.

We may investigate abuse and may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe use creates legal, safety, billing, fraud, security, operational, or reputational risk.

16. Intellectual property

STEADY, including the website, copy, interface, messages, workflows, branding, software, prompts, templates, analytics, and other materials, is owned by Inova Platforms, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property and other laws. You may use STEADY only as allowed by these Terms.

Feedback, suggestions, and ideas you send may be used by us without restriction or compensation, unless we separately agree otherwise in writing.

17. Service changes, suspension, and termination

We may modify, pause, discontinue, or limit any part of STEADY at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk, fail to pay, misuse messaging, dispute charges without basis, or if continuing service is impractical or unlawful. You may stop using STEADY at any time, subject to any active subscription obligations.

18. Third-party services

STEADY may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, databases, messaging, SMS/iMessage delivery, connected scales, payment processing, analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, customer support, AI, email, security, logging, and legal or compliance operations. Providers may include Firebase or Google Cloud services, Vercel, Stripe, Meta, Quo, Linq, OpenPhone or similar messaging systems, AI infrastructure providers, connected-scale platforms, and email or analytics providers. Your use of those third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party acts, omissions, outages, delays, fees, policies, data practices, or failures.

19. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, STEADY is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, uninterrupted operation, security, and that STEADY will meet your needs or produce any particular outcome.

We do not warrant that messages will be delivered, that coaching will be timely, that connected-device data will sync correctly, that AI-assisted content will be accurate, or that any plan, reminder, trend, estimate, or suggestion will be safe or appropriate for every user.

20. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inova Platforms, Inc., STEADY, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, service providers, licensors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, enhanced, or lost-profit damages; health, fitness, weight, body-composition, emotional, data, device, messaging, payment, subscription, or business losses; or damages arising from reliance on STEADY content, inability to access the service, message delays, third-party services, inaccurate data, user content, or unauthorized access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to STEADY will not exceed the amount you paid to STEADY in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you did not pay STEADY during that period. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.

21. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Inova Platforms, Inc., STEADY, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, service providers, licensors, and partners from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of STEADY, your content, your health or safety decisions, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law or third-party rights, your payment disputes, your misuse of messaging, or your providing a phone number or email address that you are not authorized to use.

22. Disputes and legal compliance

You agree to try to resolve disputes with us informally by emailing contact@inovaplatforms.com before filing a claim, except where urgent legal relief is required or where prohibited by law. Any dispute must be brought individually and not as a class, consolidated, collective, private-attorney-general, or representative action, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. If a court or regulator determines that a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect and the unenforceable provision will be interpreted to the maximum extent permitted.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with an updated date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where practical. Continuing to use STEADY after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

24. Contact

Questions, cancellation requests, privacy requests, support requests, and legal notices can be sent to contact@inovaplatforms.com. Include the email address or phone number associated with your STEADY account so we can locate the correct records.
